The Raven-eating Dog

Apart from a late one last night I had one of those abstract dreams but I can gather where I got some of those images from.

I was in this park, kind of like the Jells Park Wetlands and accompanied by my dog KJ. The sun was setting and it was beautiful albeit surrounded by an ominous dark purple skyline. There were clouds brewing but the last of the sun's rays filtered through which looked amazing. The scene was somewhat similar to that of Matrix Revolutions when Neo and Trinity head towards the Machine City and it was really dark and dank. (I watched the last half of it sometime last week on Showtime). It was cold in the park and I was waiting for Anna to pick me up while playing with KJ.

The next part I remember was KJ fighting some magpies and then fighting a raven. No prizes for guessing where that came from in regards to reality. For those of you who didn't hear Carol's story last night, she saw a raven kill a pigeon by pecking it to death outside ICT yesterday. Anyway, I was really scared they would peck KJ's eyes or something long lasting so I willed (yes, I can control bits of my dreams at will muahahaha) KJ to slaughter the birds. He then shoved the head of the raven into his mouth (ala snake swallowing styles) and looked like he was struggling to down it. He managed to fit half of it in then this fluorescent green goo (like that slime stuff u buy in toy stores) seeped out of his mouth which I interpreted as bird blood.

Hmm anyway I attribute this warped dream to some funky clams in XO sauce at West Lakes and a 3:30am bedtime. Lalalalalaaaaa...

Geez, you were really disturbed by what I saw. To top it off I chose to walk to the Swanston Street tram stop and guess what I saw? The poor pigeon corpse lying there fully exposed. ewwww
