listening to Mandy Moore's version of "Umbrella". i like it much more than Rhianna's version (and okay, maybe I am biased) but it's much more soulful than Rhianna's version. although the lyrics are quite deep in a sense so i guess i have more respect for Rhianna now than i used to. even though she probably didn't write it all by herself. they're actually quite sweet lyrics:

it resonates with those soft themes like love, loyalty, friendship, togetherness, support - things that say "i am here for you, always." basically all those things that make you warm and fuzzy. couple that with mandy moore and it makes for a nice little song really.

ah so, another busy weekend. had an all day MTA lecture on friday which was a bit crappy. the lecturer was a fill in who didn't know what he was lecturing about. but i guess we got some of the answers for our next focus session.

today spent most of the day working on the assignment which was quite run of the mill. looking at putting in some time for that tomorrow afternoon as well, i just wanna get this thing out of the way! tonight went to hog's breath for dinner with julz, pete and ike. i have to say im still impressed with the meat there. it's still kinda tender but you dont have to pay like $50 for your steak. watched "Superbad" at chaddy as well which is um...really wrong. some bits were funny.

hmm so what else has been going on? im thinking of getting away over the cup weekend, QLD or apollo bay? and i want to do a road trip late december while im on my holidays to maybe sydney? and then there's this africa trip planned for late may - late june in 2008. decisions, decisions.

so that's another weekend wrap. and then it's back to work on monday.
